The Pheu Thai Party plans to develop its own digital wallet in the form of a utility token, which is not a new currency, but rather a digital representation of the baht.

The digital token cannot be exchanged for other currencies and is specifically intended to support the 10,000-baht digital currency handout meant to stimulate the economy.

Lina Mukherjee, a content creator in the lifestyle vertical is sentenced to 2 years in prison for her pork-eating video in Indonesia. The justice system deemed the video as causing public unrest and blasphemous. Eating pork is one thing, but eating it while reciting a religious phrase? That's a big no-no. She and her family will decide to whether appeal the decision or not in the coming days. The plaintiff mentions that this is done to ensure mutual respect between the 5 recognized religions in Indonesia and as an example so content creators be wise with their ideas and creativity. With millions of content creators out there, we have to admit not all of them are professionals. They need guidelines on how to create advertisement-friendly content to attract brands and advertisers. And that's one of our services in Collab Asia.

Deadly Fire in Hanoi Overshadows President Biden's Visit

On Sept 13th, 2 days after President Joe Biden's historic visit to Vietnam, the deadliest fire in 20 years ravaged through a 10 storey building in Hanoi, claiming the lives of 56 people including children. Yet, the toll would have been much higher without the heroism of Mr. Nguyen Dang Van. The fire broke out in a mini apartment complex on Khuong Ha street, Khuong Dinh ward (Thanh Xuan district), quickly spreading through the entire building. Mr. Nguyen Dang Van, a 30-year-old shipper, was on his way to deliver goods when he received a text message from his brother saying their relative apartment located on the 4th floor of the building was on fire. Mr. Van immediately drove to the scene and rushed into the burning structure to save members of his own family and neighbors. Armed with a hammer, he courageously broke down the door of his cousin's apartment, saved him, then went on to save 8 more lives at the risk of his own.
